Alana Bailey Brand Posters has moved! Also: New Chicago Protocol.

We have relocated to Florence, OR. This is good news for Portland, and also maybe for SF/Oakland! Chicago people, do not worry, here is how we can continue to work together:
Contact me a month ahead of your poster distro deadline. Then you can have your very own Alana Bailey Brand Poster in hand, on time, in Chicago.

OK?

A DAY IN THE COUNTRY WAS SO GREAT

If you missed it, too bad for you! What were you doing? I bet you couldn't find your way out of green music fest when you got off the train. I had trouble last night and it hadn't even started yet.

It was a super gorgeous day, thanks to Lawrence Peters' weather machine, and we all got to hang around with good music, friends, dogs, rad kids, a roasted pig... potato salad, coleslaw, beans... tiny pies... beer....

Are you jealous yet? I would be if I hadn't been there.

All She Wants To Do Is Fall Asleep Staring At A Brick Wall

She's supposed to be doing my laundry right now. How irritating.

HEY, DON'T FORGET TO COME TO A DAY IN THE COUNTRY TOMORROW!

IT'S TIME FOR A BLOGGERSON: DAY IN THE COUNTRY THIS SUNDAY AT THE HIDEOUT!

Yep. 2 posts a year: what?

So. I made a poster for A Day In The Country 2011... I'm calling the style "Amish Psych" or "Psych Amish". I haven't decided which one rolls off the tongue better yet. I do not feel like getting up, taking a cameraphone photo, emailing it to myself, photoshopping it and putting it on here right now-I have errands to run as soon as I post this- so instead I will tell you IT MUST BE SEEN IN PERSON to really appreciate!

In addition to the DIC2011 posters I will have some backstock stuff, business cards, and good cheer to dispense... OH and the latest pilsen-and-chicken-themed LDCTA POSTER: http://www.etsy.com/shop/LDCTA?ref=seller_info

Come see me on Sunday, June 26th, from 2-11pm, at the Hideout! 1354 W. Wabansia. We can talk about the weather.

FEBERARY

This month is when my strange and lovely friend Jefferey Thomas lassos his buddies into a 13 piece band for the Hideout's V-day Makeout Partay for the fourth year in a row! What stamina. He seems to have incredible poster karma with me. Finished it just in time for 2 days of visual promo! Hoorah!

Hello, it's a new decade

WELL.
December came and went in a hurry, huh? Got lots of work going on, I should have a most epic poster getting finished sometime this week. It's soooo nice to be getting back into the productive groove... It's been a slower process than I want (I can be pretty impatient with myself sometimes), but as long as the work keeps coming I'll get the routine working smoothly.

I feel like I've been on another planet since around the 15th or so of december.

In other news, washing dishes 3x a week is a much more awesome job than most people seem to think.

FINALLY: Tomorrow, Sunday, Jan 3rd, at 3 and 6pm, I will be rejoining all my PantoPeople for a set of encore performances of the 4th annual Hideout Xmas Panto: Ho Ho Ho, The Humanity! Prior to his career as a purveyor of gifts, Santa was a zeppelin pirate.
We are doing it to raise money for our cast members Kenneth Morrison, Gnat Ward, and Michelle Faust, as their house burned down the first night of the first run.

COME SEE IT! bring the kids. It's funny and dumb and hilarious, and we sing and dance.
